This represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.7%. Since 2019, Taiwan has seen a steady increase in coffee demand, growing by 0.7% annually. Despite this rise, Taiwan ranked 48th in global coffee consumption in 2023. Egypt surpassed Taiwan with a consumption of 30,000 metric tons. The leading nations in coffee consumption were the United States, Germany, and Japan, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
