Since 1995, Nicaragua's coffee supply has seen a steady rise, averaging a 2.9% increase each year. In the global rankings for 2023, Nicaragua secured the 12th spot. Guatemala narrowly edged out Nicaragua with an identical production of 2.9 million bags. Leading the global coffee production were Vietnam, Colombia, and Indonesia, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
