Since 2019, Denmark has experienced a year-on-year demand drop of about 1%. In the global ranking for coffee consumption in 2023, Denmark held the 42nd position, just behind Argentina, which also consumed 38,000 metric tons. The top spots in the ranking were dominated by the United States, Germany, and Japan, which occupied the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
