Serbian coffee consumption is projected to decline to approximately 31,000 metric tons by 2028, down from around 32,000 metric tons in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 0.4%. Since 2019, the demand for coffee in Serbia has been on a downward trend, falling by an average of 0.6% each year. In the 2023 rankings, Serbia placed 46th in global coffee consumption, just behind Israel, which consumed roughly 32,000 metric tons. At the top of the list, the United States, Germany, and Japan secured the second, third, and fourth positions respectively in terms of coffee consumption.
