In the current year, Romania holds the 12th position globally, with Austria slightly ahead, reporting similar revenues of €286 million. The United Kingdom, France, and Belgium occupy the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. In terms of expenditure, Romania's catering spending is projected to reach nearly €6 billion by 2028, increasing from about €5 billion in 2023. This growth reflects an average annual rate of 2.7%. Since the turn of the century, Romanian demand for catering services has surged, recording a 7% year-on-year increase.
