Ecuador's pepper production is set to reach 8,310 metric tons by 2026, an increase of 0.2% from 2021. This is a slight improvement from the 0.8% year-on-year decline seen since 1966. In 2021, Ecuador ranked number 83 in production, behind Burkina Faso's 8,240 metric tons. Mexico, Indonesia and Spain were the top three producers, respectively.
