German consumption of peppers is forecast to remain unchanged through 2026. Demand has been relatively stable since 2017. Production of peppers in Germany is expected to reach 19,380 metric tons in 2026, a 3.4% increase from 2021. Since 2001, supply has grown by 11.1% year-on-year. In 2021, Germany was the 69th largest producer of peppers in the world, behind Iraq, Mexico, Indonesia and Spain.
