Korean consumption of Peppers is set to reach around 250,000 metric tons in 2021, a slight decrease from the previous year. This is a 100% decrease since 2017. In terms of production, Korea is expected to reach 244,490 metric tons in 2026, a 1% decrease from 2021. This figure has risen steadily since 1966, with a total increase of 0.4%. Despite this, it has failed to reach the top 10 in production, as Nigeria, Mexico, Indonesia and Spain have all overtaken it.
