Ukrainian demand for peppers is expected to remain steady in the coming years. By 2026, the country is projected to consume around 2 thousand metric tons. This would be the same amount as in 2021. Since 2017, Ukrainian peppers consumption has been stable. Production, however, has been on a slight downward trend since 1997. The country was ranked 17th in 2021, with Macedonia coming in first with 177,370 metric tons. Mexico, Indonesia and Spain followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
