Lebanese pepper production is set to reach nearly 10,000 metric tons by 2026. In 2021, the country produced 10,300 metric tons, a slight 0.8% decrease from the previous year. Since 1993, Lebanese pepper production has been increasing at an average rate of 2.6% annually. In 2021, Lebanon was ranked 79th in pepper production, just behind Paraguay with 10,300 metric tons. Mexico, Indonesia, and Spain rounded out the top four.
