In 2023, the Bahamas ranked 164th globally in oilseeds production, with Seychelles surpassing it with the same output of around 440 metric tons. Leading the global ranking were Brazil, Malaysia, and the United States, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. As for consumption, Bahamian oilseeds consumption remained stable at approximately 3,000 metric tons in 2018, unchanged from the previous year in 2017.
