Since 1966, Indian oilseeds supply has increased by 0.9% annually. In the global production rankings for 2023, India stood at sixth place, with China surpassing it at 13.3 million metric tons. Brazil, Malaysia, and the United States occupied the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
