On the production front, Moroccan oilseeds output is expected to reach approximately 548,000 metric tons by 2028, up from around 475,000 metric tons in 2023. This indicates an average annual growth rate of 2.3%. Since 1966, the country's oilseeds supply has increased by about 5% year on year. In 2023, Morocco was ranked 43rd in oilseeds production, with the Czech Republic slightly ahead at the same production level of 475,000 metric tons. Brazil, Malaysia, and the United States held the second, third, and fourth positions respectively in global oilseeds production rankings.
