On the production front, Cambodia's oilseed output is expected to climb to nearly 105,000 metric tons by 2028, up from about 100,000 metric tons in 2023. This growth represents an average annual increase of 0.8% in production. Historically, since 1966, the country's oilseed supply has grown by an annual average of 1.3%. In 2023, Cambodia ranked 82nd in oilseed production, with Nepal overtaking it at the same production level of 100,050 metric tons. The leading producers in this category were Brazil, Malaysia, and the United States, ranking second, third, and fourth respectively.
