Tomato consumption in Ethiopia is set to reach 30,000 metric tons by 2026, according to a report from 2021. This is a 2.9% increase from the 25,000 metric tons consumed in 2021. Since 1998, Ethiopian supply has increased 0.6% year on year. In 2021, the country ranked 103rd in the world for tomato production, with Ecuador coming in ahead at 29,270 metric tons.
