Moldavian tomato consumption is set to remain stable over the next five years, with 63 thousand metric tons expected by 2026. This puts the country at 92nd in the world, behind Paraguay, India, the US, and Egypt. Moldavian tomato production, however, is expected to fall by 14.5% year on year on average, from 33,260 metric tons in 2021 to 13,750 metric tons by 2026. Since 1997, Moldavian supply has gone down by 9.5% each year, and the country is 98th in the world, below Ivory Coast, India, the US, and Egypt.
