This average decline of 2.1 percent year-on-year since 2017 is the result of a 4.5 percent year-on-year decrease in demand. Meanwhile, Yemeni tomato production is expected to reach 49,330 metric tons by 2026, down from 85,650 metric tons in 2021. This average fall of 9.2 percent year-on-year since 1980 is attributable to a 2.4 percent year-on-year decrease in supply.
