Romanian personal care expenditure is set to reach €2.2 billion by 2026. In 2021, it stood at €1.9 billion, growing at an average rate of 2.2% year-on-year since 2000. Last year, Romania was in 19th place in a global ranking of personal care expenditure; Slovakia overtook it at €1.9 billion. Germany, France and Italy took the top three spots.
