Mongolian mobile subscribers are expected to reach almost 6 million by 2026. This is an increase of 3% annually from the 4.8 million subscriptions recorded in 2021. Since 2001, the demand for mobile subscriptions in Mongolia has grown at a rate of 7.5% each year. Mongolia ranked 121st in the world in 2021, with North Korea overtaking it at 4.8 million subscriptions. India, the United States and Indonesia were the top three countries in the ranking.
