The number of mobile subscribers in Cabo Verde is set to reach more than 700,000 by 2026. Growing at an annual rate of 2.1%, the country's mobile demand has been increasing steadily since 2002, albeit at a slightly slower rate of 0.4%. Cabo Verde currently ranks 163rd in the world, with Malta overtaking it in terms of subscriber numbers in 2021 with 613,480. India, the United States and Indonesia take the top three spots in the global rankings.
