However, in 2023, Iceland ranked 163rd in the global list of mobile subscribers, trailing just behind the Solomon Islands, which also had around 480,000 subscriptions. Globally, India, the United States, and Indonesia occupied the second, third, and fourth positions respectively in terms of the number of mobile subscriptions.
