The number of mobile subscribers in Montenegro is set to rise to 1.3 million by 2026. This is a small but steady increase of 1.3% annually since 2009. Montenegro was in 154th place globally in 2021, with 1.2 million mobile subscribers, falling just behind Fiji. India, the United States and Indonesia respectively ranked second, third and fourth.
