Kazakhstan is projected to become the world's 31st largest importer of xylene by 2026. Last year, the country imported 259,760 kilograms of the chemical, a 16.4 percent surge since 2006. Trinidad and Tobago overtook Kazakhstan in 2021, while Germany, Italy and Belgium were the top three importers. By 2026, Kazakhstan is expected to import around 302,000 kilograms, representing a 2.3 percent yearly growth on average.
