Demand for Costa Rican coffee has skyrocketed since 1999. Last year, the country came in 50th place globally with nearly 5,000 kilograms of coffee consumed, while Poland consumed more than 26,000 kilograms. Germany, Italy, and Belgium took the top three spots with the most coffee consumed.
