Israeli xylene exports are expected to drop slightly over the next five years, according to a new report. In 2021, the country was the 10th largest exporter of xylene, at 19.6 million kilograms. This is down 2.6% from 2005. Canada overtook Israel in 2021, with 20.1 million kilograms. Singapore, the United States and the Netherlands were the second, third and fourth largest exporters respectively. On the other hand, Israel's xylene imports fell dramatically in 2018. The country imported only 2.2 thousand kilograms, a 53.9% drop from 2017 and a 4.7% decrease since 2005. Mongolia overtook Israel in 2018, with 2.2 thousand kilograms. Germany, Italy and Belgium were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
