The country exported $2.4 million of zinc in 2018, a 23.4% increase compared to 2017. Since 1997, supply of zinc in the country has grown 16.1% year on year. In 2018, Zambia overtook Kenya in zinc export, with $2.4 million in exports. Belgium, Canada and Australia were the second, third and fourth countries in the ranking, respectively.
