Russia took the lead in 2021 with an import total of $78 million, overtaking Colombia which was in 35th place. The United States, Germany and Belgium were in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Exports of zinc from Colombia are expected to reach $584 million by 2026, a 2.2% increase from 2021's total of $511 million. Since 1996, exports from the country have grown 4.9% each year on average. Bahrain was in charge in 2021 with an export total of $511 million, overtaking Colombia which was in 74th place. Belgium, Canada and Australia were in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
