Korean zinc imports are expected to reach nearly $267 million by 2026, an increase of 1.8% annually from 2021's figure of $240 million. Since 1993, imports have increased by 7.9% year-on-year. In 2021, Korea ranked 16th in the world for zinc imports, with the United Arab Emirates overtaking them with $239.8 million. The United States, Germany and Belgium took the next three spots in the rankings. Korean zinc exports are projected to grow to $2.47 billion by 2026, an average year-on-year rise of 3.1% from 2021's total of $2.06 billion. Since 1993, exports have grown 9.7% annually. Belgium, Canada and Australia occupied the next three spots in the rankings.
