Since 2001, the demand for zinc in Ukraine has grown 13.6% a year. In 2021, Canada led the world with $87 million, followed by the United States, Germany and Belgium. Meanwhile, Ukrainian zinc export rocketed to $363 million in 2018, from $64 million in 2017 - an increase of 463%. However, since 2001, the supply of zinc from Ukraine has fallen 44.3% each year. In 2018, Qatar came first with $363 million, followed by Belgium, Canada and Australia.
