Finnish zinc exports are predicted to reach nearly $900 million by 2026, up 1.8% year on year. This follows a 7.5% increase year on year since 1993. In 2021, Finland was ranked 9th largest exporter, overtaken by India, which exported $790 million. Belgium, Canada and Australia followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Meanwhile, imports of zinc are set to reach $16.6 million in 2026, up 2% year on year. This follows a 15.1% increase since 1993. In 2021, Finland was 67th largest importer, overtaken by Lithuania, which imported $14.7 million. The US, Germany and Belgium followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
