China's urea imports have plummeted by 61.4% in 2021 compared to the previous year, reaching 19.3 million kilograms. This marks a 21.8% decline since 1997. Angola was the leading importer with 19.3 million kilograms, while India, Brazil and Thailand followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. China's urea exports are expected to drop by an average of 10.9% year-on-year to reach 1.45 billion kilograms by 2026. This is a 20.6% decline compared to 1998. Oman was the leading exporter at 2.81 billion kilograms, with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran coming in second, third and fourth place respectively.
