Morocco’s urea exports are expected to reach 750,000 kilograms by 2026, nearly a 20% increase since 2005. In 2021, the country ranked 69th in the world with 619,890 kilograms, overtaken by Cameroon. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Iran were the top three countries in terms of exports. Morocco’s urea imports are also projected to grow to 138 million kilograms by 2026, up 3.1% since 1998. In 2021, Morocco was 47th in the world with 128,290,000 kilograms, overtaken by Serbia. India, Brazil, and Thailand took the top three spots in terms of imports.
