Namibian demand for urea imports is set to rise in the coming years. By 2026, it is projected to reach 2.1 million kilograms, up 3% annually from 1.7 million kilograms in 2021. Since 2005, the country's demand for urea imports has been growing at a rate of 0.1% per year. In 2021, it ranked 101st in the world, behind Tunisia, which imported 1.7 million kilograms. India, Brazil, and Thailand were the top three importers of urea, in that order.
