Niger's urea import is set to reach 18.4 million kilograms in 2026, up from 16.5 million kilograms in 2021. On average, demand is growing by 1.9% year-on-year, with a growth rate of 4.4% since 2000. India, Brazil and Thailand are the top three importers, followed by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran. Urea export from Niger has increased as well, to 76,700 kilograms in 2015 from 8,000 kilograms in 2014. Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran are the top three exporters.
