Ukrainian urea import is set to reach 353 million kilograms by 2026. This growth of 3% each year on average follows a trend of decreasing demand since 2002, when it was down 2.6% year on year. In 2021, Ukraine came in 29th in the world ranking, with Ecuador coming in ahead at 295 million kilograms. India, Brazil and Thailand took the next spots in the ranking. Ukrainian export of urea was close to 219 million kilograms in 2018, a decrease of 53.7% from 2017 which was 473 million kilograms. Since 2001, the supply has decreased by 38.9% each year. In 2018, Thailand was ahead of Ukraine in the 26th spot, with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran following in the next three spots.
