Qatari urea imports are set to plunge 11.6% on average per year to reach 14,000 kilograms by 2026. This is down from 28,000 kilograms in 2021. Since 2006, the country's demand has risen by almost 50% annually. In 2021, Qatar was ranked 112th highest importer of urea. It was surpassed by Sao Tome and Principe with 28,000 kilograms. India, Brazil and Thailand followed in the rankings at second, third and fourth place respectively.
