In 2021, Tanzania ranked 101 in import demand for frozen food, behind Laos at $1.9 million. The United States, South Korea and Japan were the top three in the ranking. In 2018, Tanzania's frozen food exports hit $48,000, down 95.7% from 2017. Since 2002, the country's supply has decreased by 51% year on year.
