Honduran frozen food imports are expected to hit nearly $5 million by 2026, according to a new report. The country's demand for frozen food has increased an average of 3.7% year on year since 1999. In 2021, Honduras ranked 93rd, with Saint Lucia leading the pack at $4.1 million. The United States, South Korea, and Japan came in second, third, and fourth place respectively. Honduran frozen food exports, however, dropped 17.7% year on year in 2021 to $8.6 million from $10.4 million in 2020. Since 1999, supply has decreased 14.7% year on year. In 2021, Honduras took the 102nd spot, with Albania surpassing it at $8.6 million. China, Spain, and Mexico occupied the second, third, and fourth places respectively.
