Belizean frozen food import is expected to rise to $40,520 by 2026. This is a 1.8% rise from 2021, when the import figure was $36,480. Belize has seen a 33.3% increase in demand since 1997. Nigeria was the top importer in 2021, followed by the United States, South Korea and Japan. Belizean frozen food export is forecasted to reach $110,860 in 2026, a 7% decrease from 2021, when the exports were recorded at $168,480. The country has experienced a 12.6% decline in supply since 2015. Jamaica was the top exporter in 2021, followed by China, Spain and Mexico.
