In 2021, it ranked 28th, behind Indonesia's $23 million. China, Spain and Mexico were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, Bulgarian frozen food imports are projected to fall 2.2% year-on-year to $19 million by 2026. Since 2001, demand has decreased by 5.9% each year on average. Bulgaria was 59th in 2021, behind Costa Rica's $22 million. The US, South Korea and Japan were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
