Fixed line subscribers in Lithuania are set to drop significantly over the next five years. By 2026, the number of subscribers is expected to reach 180,810, a decrease of 9.5% from 2021. Since 1965, the country has seen a 9.8% annual decrease in demand for fixed line services. In 2021, Lithuania came in at number 101 in the global rankings, behind Ghana which had 316,520 subscribers. The United States, Japan and Germany respectively came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
