Colombia's wool imports are projected to drop by 55% by 2026, from a high of $5.4 million in 2021. Singapore overtook Colombia in 2021, ranking first with $5.4 million. Italy, Germany, and the UK were the next three highest importers. The country's exports of wool decreased by 64.8% from 2017 to 2018, from $44,400 to $15,630. Ghana was the leading exporter in 2018, followed by China, Italy and Germany. Since 1996, Colombia's wool exports have dropped by nearly 30%.
