British wool export is set to reach nearly half a billion dollars by 2026, falling by 0.4% annually from 2021. Since 1998, British supply has grown by just 0.7% per year. Last year, South Africa was the top exporter at $501 million, followed by China, Italy and Germany. Meanwhile, British wool import is expected to reach $449 million by 2026, growing 0.1% from 2021. Since 1998, British demand has risen by 1.3% per year. Last year, Germany was the top importer with $447 million, followed by Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom.
