Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom came in at 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Exports of wool from the Dominican Republic also plummeted, with a 65.3% decrease to $48,330 in 2017, down from $139,150 in 2016. Since 2007, the country's wool exports have dropped 39.4%. Haiti overtook the Dominican Republic to take 91st place in the world rankings. Spain, Germany and the United States of America followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively.
