Swiss wool exports are projected to decrease by 6.4% between 2021 and 2026, from $35 million to $24 million. Since 1993, Swiss wool supply has dropped by 7.4% on an annual basis. Norway was the top destination for Swiss wool in 2021, with exports totalling $35 million. China, Italy, and Germany were the second, third, and fourth largest importers of Swiss wool, respectively.
