The Netherlands' wool export is forecast to decline by 3.2% per year, reaching $23 million in 2026. This is down from $28 million in 2021, when the country came in 36th place in global rankings, overtaken by Sweden. China, Italy and Germany came in second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Dutch wool import is expected to increase by 0.5% per annum, reaching $84 million in 2026. This is up from $82 million in 2021, when the Netherlands placed 24th in the global rankings, behind Spain. Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom occupied the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
