Slovene wool imports dropped by 64% to around $730,000 in 2021, down 40% from 1999. Algeria took the number 89 spot, overtaking Slovenia. Italy, Germany and the UK came in second, third and fourth. Meanwhile, Slovene wool exports fell 11% to $850,000 in 2021, down 19% from 1999. Macedonia overtook Slovenia, which was ranked 66th. China, Italy and Germany came in second, third and fourth.
