Iran's wool export is set to close 2021 at around $5.1 million, down 11.3% from the previous year. This marks a 14.9% drop compared to 2002. The country is number 51 in the world rankings; Morocco is ahead with $5.1 million. China, Italy and Germany are the next three in this ranking. Iran is forecast to import wool to the value of $26.3 million by 2026. This is a 1.3% fall from 2021's figure of $28.3 million. Since 2002, demand has grown by just 0.5% annually. Iran is number 40 in the world rankings, with Nepal ahead at $28.3 million. Italy, Germany and the UK are the next three in this ranking.
