The Bahraini wool market is set to see a decline in import and export over the next five years. In 2021, imports were valued at $393,390, a 15.1% increase since 2005. However, this figure is expected to drop by 7.8% annually, reaching $246,490 by 2026. Zimbabwe overtook Bahrain in 2021, coming in at number 95 in the ranking. Italy, Germany and the UK followed in the rankings, at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Exports of wool from Bahrain are also set to decline, from $8,940 in 2021 to $8,140 by 2026 - a decrease of 1.6% annually. Bahrain was ranked 96th in 2021, with Tanzania overtaking them at $8,940. China, Italy and Germany ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
