In terms of wind power consumption, Romania is set to reach 0.07 exajoules by 2028, maintaining the same level as in 2023 but growing at an average rate of 1.5% annually. Since 2015, the country's wind power demand has seen a yearly increase of 1.9%. In 2023, Romania again ranked 17th, with Austria overtaking it at 0.07 exajoules. The United Kingdom, Spain, and France secured the second, third, and fourth spots in this category, respectively.
